Is The Rec Room a part of Cineplex Entertainment?

The Rec Room is an all ages space all day, everyday in Edmonton, until 10 PM in Calgary, and until 11 PM in Toronto, Mississauga, London, Barrie, Winnipeg and St. John's, after which Minors are not allowed. In Burnaby, guests must be 19+ years of age with valid government issued photo ID, minors are allowed if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian until 10pm. Please check the event listings for special and ticketed events as additional restrictions may apply.

No they do not. You can continue to add to your points every visit and redeem them for a larger prize.

Do my game play credits or points awarded expire?

You can check your balance at any one of our locations!

How can I check my Game Band balance?

Game Bands are non-refundable. Credits for games and points earned for the prize store will not expire. Game Bands can be used at any other The Rec Room locations. Remember to register your game band at a location, in case you misplace it.

Can game bands be refunded?

Yes, an 18% gratuity is included in groups of 8 people or more.

Is tip included for large parties?

Yes! The Rec Room accepts <a href="https://giftcards.cineplex.com">Cineplex Gift Cards</a>.

Does The Rec Room accept Cineplex Entertainment Gift Cards?

Yes. The Rec Room gift cards are not valid in Quebec.

Does Cineplex Entertainment accept The Rec Room Gift Cards?

Where can I redeem The Rec Room Gift Cards?

No, The Rec Room Gift Cards are offered in Canadian funds only.

Are The Rec Room Gift Cards available in funds other than Canadian?

Scene+ points are not issued on the sales of Gift Cards but can be earned when making a purchase with a <a href="/gift-cards">Gift Card</a>.

Can I earn Scene+ points with my Gift Card purchase?

Does a The Rec Room Gift Card expire?

Call <a href="tel:1-800-544-7573">1-800-544-7573</a>. When calling a PIN is not required. When checking your balance online you must enter your Gift Card number located on the back side of your card along with your PIN, found to the right of the Gift Card number. If you have not used your PIN number before, scratch your Gift Card to reveal the PIN.

How do I check my gift card balance?

There may be some The Rec Room Gift Cards that do not have a PIN. You can use these cards at any The Rec Room location. If you wish to purchase any products online, you must have a PIN and can call Guest Services at call <a href="tel:1-800-333-0061">1-800-333-0061</a> to exchange your card.

What if my Gift Card doesn't have a PIN?

Electronic Gift Cards (&ldquo;E-Gift Cards&rdquo;) work just like regular gift cards and may be used at any of The Rec Room locations and online through therecroom.com. An email containing the E-Gift card barcode and PIN will be sent to the recipient to begin redeeming.

What are E-Gift Cards?

You can print a black and white or colour copy of the E-Gift Card, or display a digital copy on any mobile device. A printed copy works exactly the same as a physical card.

How do I use my E-Gift Card?

All E-Gift Card orders will be delivered within minutes of the completed transaction. If your E-Gift Card is not received within 2 hours of your purchase, call <a href="tel:1-800-333-0061">1-800-333-0061</a> or e-mail <a href="mailto:therecroom@buyatab.com">therecroom@buyatab.com</a>. Be sure to check your &ldquo;Junk Mail&rdquo; folder.

How soon will my E-Gift Card get delivered?

If your gift card has been damaged, lost or stolen, please e-mail Guest Services <a href="mailto:guestservices@cineplex.com">guestservices@cineplex.com</a> or call <a href="tel:1-800-333-0061">1-800-333-0061</a>.
If an E-Gift Card is lost or stolen, a replacement E-Gift Card will match the balance of your account at the time you reported your original card missing. The replacement E-Gift Card will be sent to you at no additional cost. What if my Gift Card has been damaged, lost or stolen?

Yes! 1000 Scene+ points will get you a $10 gift card. Customers can choose the total number of points they wish to redeem use for the purchase of each gift card.

Can I redeem Scene+ points to purchase my gift card?

No. The Rec Room gift cards cannot be redeemed towards the purchase of another gift card.

Can I use The Rec Room gift cards to purchase another The Rec Room gift card?

Yes. The Rec Room Gift Cards are transferable and can be shared with family members, friends and others. Treat gift cards like cash.

Can someone else use my The Rec Room Gift Card?

Yes. Persons living outside of Canada can purchase and send E-Gift Cards to residents of Canada.

Is it possible for someone living outside of Canada to purchase gift cards for friends and family living in Canada?

Yes, we do! The Rec Room offers 10% off Military discount for Active Duty, Retirees, and Veterans with up to three (3) guests. Discount is valid on all food, game tags, game credits, and attraction purchases, excluding alcohol, taxes, gratuities and the purchase of gift cards. Offer is eligible with valid Military ID only. Valid ID includes: Canadian Veterans Card (CVC), Record of Service Card (NDI75), Certificate of Service, RCMP &ndash; Retired Member Cards, Veterans Affairs Canada Health ID Card, Canadian Forces Appreciation Program Card, CFOne Card. This discount cannot be combined with other offers. Offer is subject to change or expire without notice. Not currently available at the Burnaby location.

Does The Rec Room have a Military Discount?

Yes, we do! The Rec Room offers a student discount for active students who are SPC members. When you buy $25 in gaming credits, you will receive $5 in bonus gaming credits. This offer cannot be combined with other offers, discounts or coupons. Offer is subject to change or expire without notice.
